IT'S PLAY CLIMB!
Exclusive to Camp5 KL East is the Play Climb Zone. With it's fun challenges Play Climb is perfect for young (and young at heart) climbers. To enter climbers must be at least 4 years of age and weigh a minimum 10kg. Book onto any of the session times listed below.
Play Climbers must be minimum 4 years of age.
Play Climb Fee is inclusive harness & helmet.
Play Climbers may wear own sport shoes/trainers. No flip-flops/slippers.
Climbing shoes are available for rent (bring a pair of socks if you plan to rent shoes).

Four climbing challenges will be set, each one progressively harder. Only a successful TOP will be allowed to take part in the Lucky Dip. If you are already a Camp5 Member, you shall be fast tracked to Climb 3.

Are you a proud ambassador of our sport? Passionate, committed, and meticulous with the details?
Then you might have what it takes to be part of the Camp5 team as an American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA) certified climbing instructor.
With six Camp5 Climbing Gyms in the Klang Valley and one in JB, we need instructors to help spread the beautiful word of climbing. (FYI, if you`ve ever thought of coaching at Camp5, it is our policy that you have this certification too.)
INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED CERTIFICATION
We are proud to uphold a high standard of instruction for all our courses. Camp5’s instructors are certified American Mountain Guide Association Climbing Wall Instructors. The American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA) is a member of the International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations (IFMGA). It`s an internationally recognized certification.

FULL SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE
The typical cost of the AMGA is USD$450 + $80 Annual Membership Fee. Camp5 offers full scholarships for those committed to teaching at Camp5.

PREREQUISITES
You must have at least 1 year of logged climbing experience with not less than 20 climbing outings in the past 12 months. Plus, be able to climb comfortably on 6a or harder.

FORMAL TRAINING
The course is conducted through 5 x 4 hour sessions, run once a week over 5 weeks.
ON THE JOB TRAINING
You will have the opportunity to shadow our current certified instructors, learn the lesson plan and gain invaluable insight to teach the course. It may take up to 3 months to become an instructor.
