Fitness and Yoga

Climbing is movement. Our functional fitness training, antagonist (opposing) muscle strengthening and yoga will extend your range of movement to complement your climbing ability and amplify your performance.

We have assembled a crew of passionate climbers, coaches, fitness and yoga experts to put together classes tailored to the needs of a climber. But you don't have to be a climber to join. We welcome fresh faces and walk-in's to our fitness and yoga classes.

BODY-MIND-CORE with Joshua

Get your body, mind, and core aligned. Joshua's Body-Mind-Core classes will work on antagonistic muscles, aka your weak points, to help you find balance in your posture and strength in your core.

This class is for you to find your body's limit, so you can push it. Have a goal to climb stronger and feeling unstoppable.

FUNDAMENTAL STRENGTH with Daryl

Daryl's weekly "Fundamental Strength" session will get your body working as it should. Focus on the basics, to develop strength and skills you can transfer to climbing and other sports and physical activities.

Monday's session is for low-moderate fitness level whilst Wednesday is an intensive burn.

YOGA with Adeleena

Adeleena's wealth of yoga knowledge and experience working with athletes has crafted 2 unique practices to compliment your climb, or help release and stretch desk-bound muscles and joints.

DESCEND AND ZEN, Wednesdays | 8.30pm - 9.30pm
The perfect post-climb stretch. With poses that will work antagonistic muscles to balance out your climb and calm your mind. Closeout your session with some zen. Also great after a day cooped up behind a desk.

RISE AND CLIMB, Saturdays | 10.30am - 11.30am
Whether you plan to climb hard or put a dent in the couch, ring in the weekend by treating your body kind with a stretch that will get you warmed up and ready for anything.

What to bring: under the current RMCO we kindly ask that you bring along your own yoga mat. Lockers and showers are free to use, bring along you own padlock, towel and toiletries.

SUSPENSION & CORE CIRCUIT with Ana-Maria

STARTING OCTOBER 2020 - This class combines TRX and body weight resistance training with cross reference to climbing movement. The program utilizes tools that enhance body weight exercises to develop strength, balance and core stability simultaneously. The instructor will adjust the exercises according to the students' different fitness levels.
