CLIMBER SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT
Camp5 wishes to inform all members that a recently received Safety Alert notice from Head Rush Technologies (the makers of the Trublue Autobelay) has identified units that will need to be sent for upgrading.
The safety concern relates to the retraction mechanism. It is important to recognise that the Trublue device is built so that the retraction mechanism works independently of the braking system.

At Camp5 Eco City we have confirmed 3 units are affected by this Safety Alert.
The 3 units have been removed and temporarily replaced by top-rope. We are now coordinating with the service centre to have the units upgraded and returned to us as quickly as possible.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
